What got you into this business in the first place?
I've always been fascinated by consumer behavior. I love learning trade practices for increasing basket size and then applying those skills to different industries.
Who was a big influence in your career?
My mom. When she was responsible for developing new products for a global blade manufacturer, she asked me to help her select from 50 potential prototypes. I was twelve years old, and I intuitively selected the design that enabled her company to launch its first product that stole market share from their biggest competitor.
What was "your finest moment," the thing you're most proud of?
I've raised over $5,000 in pledges and biked 300 miles for the Red Ribbon Ride, in support of people living with HIV.
What was your most embarrassing moment in this business?
As an intern in college, I boarded a train in Connecticut and went nonstop to NYC when I intended to meet a client in Boston. I had to call my boss to attend in my place. I did manage to do some networking while on board.
What attracted you to Parham Santana?
During the interview process, I had a tremendous dialogue about how to develop solutions for clients looking to increase sales. I've never met another team with such solid consumer smarts.
Do you have a method for coming up with ideas and solutions for clients?
I look for patterns and try to bring clarity to ambiguity.
What makes a great brand?
Clearly differentiated positioning. And customer service..
What talent do you wish you had?
Singing. I sang karaoke at a wedding once and was asked to consider others before ever attempting that again.
Is there any food that helps you think more creatively?
Peanut butter. I cannot function without a few spoonfuls a day.
What's your point of view about politics?
Sometimes I wish there was an aptitude assessment as a mandatory prerequisite for voting.
What's your favorite TV program? And your least favorite?
Favorite: Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List. Least favorite: Golf.
What do you do for a good time when you're not working?
Legendary Step Aerobics.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
