What was growing up like for you?
I grew up with very few immediate family members, since all of my relatives were left behind in Cuba in the 1960’s. My family bonded and until this day we call each other every day to check on each other. Lots of succulent pork, spiced black beans and music. The complete Cuban Style family!
What do you do for a good time when you're not working?
In New York, I visit the Met and have a fabulous dinner afterwards. In the Caribbean – swim in the ocean. Wake up early and see the sunrise.

Changes all the time

My dad’s khaki pants, red shirt and handkerchief from the 70’s. He always wore in his archeological excursions in P.R.

What is your most marked characteristic?
Directness. No running around the bush with me.
