Parham Santana’s licensing division, BrandSlam, is proud of our collaboration with PBS KIDS, helping them to find program partners for their new line of branded toys rolling out nationwide at Whole Foods Market this holiday season.
In addition to licensing representation, Parham Santana developed the PBS KIDS positioning for licensing, “A little wonder goes a long way,” which appears on packaging to support and celebrate PBS KIDS’ commitment to ‘open-ended play,’ an integral part of early childhood development. The new toy line provides children with the opportunity to explore and learn in a safe and fun way. From the Whole Foods Market press release:
Appropriate for young children ages six months to three years, the PBS KIDS toy line features: race cars made from recycled milk bottles; colorful, wooden vehicles assembled by hand from local wood in Vermont; shape sorters (recently named a National Parenting Publications Awards (NAPPA) silver award winner) and stackers that inspire a love for fruits and veggies; super soft plush animals made with phthalate- and PVC-free materials; and organic t-shirts and infant onesies with vintage designs. Each item in the PBS KIDS toy line is made with safe, non-toxic materials and inks, and all packaging is made from recycled materials. Many of the toys are produced in the USA from sustainable materials, responsibly harvested from local communities.
Not only are the toys fun and educational, but also net proceeds will go directly toward a good cause!
One-hundred percent of PBS KIDS’ net proceeds will benefit the media brand’s mission of empowering children through knowledge, critical thinking and imagination, while Whole Foods Market will donate one percent of total sales, up to $25,000, to Whole Kids Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving children’s nutrition and wellness.
The toys are sure to make great presents this gift-giving season. On your next trip to Whole Foods see how PBS KIDS toys and "A little wonder can go a long way."
